Re: Garage broked my car
Thanks for the explaination, much appreciated. But the thing I noted with my garage that they were not able to rectify the issue at first place and took time and cost to rectify it. I dont think renault will create or put instruments / machine that will get last 65K miles. machine like alternators should last for long long year. Being electric engineer I understand how alternators/motors work and so I am confident about the alternators life span. However, I think if there was any issue with the alternator bearing then my garage should have been able to spot the issue, while putting the new belt. Also they could have loosen the tensioner little bit.
Anyways, now I doubt my garage did the work properly at first place, bcos from day one I am re-visiting them for the service and having breakdown within 10 miles drive after service is shocking to me.
Anyways thanks for your advice.
