brakes discs can get very hot even under normal driving conditions due to the friction caused between the discs and the pads rubbing together.As you know little about cars I would take it to a decent garage and get the brakes checked they may only need cleaning also your calliper may be causing the problem. Maybe a wheel bearing but sounds unlikely to me good luck just looked and noticed this is a new car then just take it back to dealer and let them sort it whilst you get a courtesy car
