Re: Rubbing on brakes of New Clio Sport Tourer w/ 1200km
any ideas? I tried to search everywhere and the best that i could find that is almost similar to my problem is a sticking caliper, but to me it doesnt happen all the time. only after braking from high velocity.
i just want to confirm if its normal and will eventually wear off or is it serious and i should bring the car to renault garage.
brakes discs can get very hot even under normal driving conditions due to the friction caused between the discs and the pads rubbing together. As you know little about cars I would take it to a decent garage and get the brakes checked they may only need cleaning also your calliper may be causing the problem. Maybe a wheel bearing but sounds unlikely to me good luck just looked and noticed this is a new car then just take it back to dealer and let them sort it whilst you get a courtesy car
