I've just re-done that in my Scenic. What a bloomin' nightmare job that is I managed to burn out the original power cable. The new cable is about 4 times thicker than the old one and required a hole to be drilled thru the bulkhead .... it only took an hour to remove everything to allow access to where I wanted the cable to go. I also had a bit of bother hiding the cable inside the car as the trims along the sides struggled to take the cable and still fit ok. But it's all in now and hopefully I won't burn this one out !!

I'm sure it should be a bit easier in the Clio as the engine bay should be less cluttered. Any grommet in the bulkhead should be ok for the cable to pass thru. Just try to keep it away from the exhaust and steering column. I've seen and had to sort out some horrific wiring jobs lately. In some cases I was seriously surprised the car hadn't caught fire !

Just take your time and use some common sense and all should be ok.

REMEMBER not to fit the fuse until you have everything else connected !!
