Re: door lock/catch sticks open during frosty mornings
Not very high tech, and I keep meaning to buy some WD40, but a temporary fix is to boil a kettle and pour some hot water down the edge of the open door, next to the lock mechanism, for a few seconds.
Give it a few more seconds for the heat to get through and it should lock. Then take a flask with you on your way to the WD40 shop.
Someone once said to me, 'What is the difference between WD40 and varnish?'
Answer-'About 6 weeks!)
