I only seem to be getting about 31MPG on average.
I cannot get it to shift above that.

I donít go over 2k on the revs when driving around town.
The only time it is at constant 2k or over is on the motorway.

It is costing me too much to run the car. At this rate if that is all i am going to get its going to force me to sell up.

I am just wondering if this is correct for the eng / car?

The main problem with average fuel consumption in Laguna 1.9 DCi engine is:This engine fuel consumption is heavily influenced by maf -sensor when I inadvertently spoil my maf -sensor and replace it with chinese unoriginal product of 100 euros(original was 300 euros!), the consumption increase by 1-2 liters per 100 km.Fuel consumption goes from average 6,3 to 8,3 liters,in city from 7,5 to 9.I don't know what to do,any help please?
