Question paint drying darker when sprayed

I recently ploughed my clio into a wall, damaging the bumper, o/s wing and bonnet. I got a new bumper and wing as they were knackered.

as always with patern parts, they were primer black.
i resprayed the wing myself with genuine renault spray (correct code) and lacquer. I am aware that paint fades as it gets older (7 years) but the paint seems darker than even factory fresh paint at the dealer.

I have yet to get an electric buffer and buff it up nice and smooth. Could it be darker just because i havent buffed it properly?

Thanks for any responses.
