Re: Renault Laguna II 1.9Dci - Engines - Hesitation Cured after EGR cleaned
just a quick update on my post yesterday.
After giving the Lag a good run today of about 100 miles I found that the same hesitation, actually a little worse, returned after about 25 miles so I stopped and disconnected the
and HEY PRESTO no more problems for the rest of the run. I also noticed that the MPG had risen from 37.5 to 44.1 by the time I got home.
The run was mixed some county and some city but no motorways.
I know this will affect my emissions but can anyone tell me whether it is ok to run without the valve.
Should I replace the valve or is it more likely to be something else faulty causing the valve to appear faulty.
Have you tried diconnecting yours if so how did yours perform.
I haven't tried disconnecting it. May try that soon. Is it common for people to disconnect the
briefly to let the car 'learn' the new parts or have I picked that up wrong
