Re: Clio dynamique 1.4 04 biting point help
Last week I passed my driving test and have an 04 clio, but I'm finding it so hard to pull away in gear 1.
The biting point is very high which feels so unnatural as I learnt in a new focus which is light and fairly low.
Aswell as this it seems like you have to give it a huge amount of revs to actually move when you do get the biting point.
Can anyone give me some tips on pulling away in this car ?
Exactly the same for me I passed their in June and I found it very hard to get used to but I did, I also learned in a Ford Focus which was a May 2010, I find a lot of cars are different as my mums car is a very sensative car when it comes to the pedals!!
Don't know if it's a fault with the Renault.
Currently in thomas17's garage:
2000 Renault Clio II S 1.4L Blue.
