Re: Renault Clio Auto jumps out of gear
do any warning lights come on when it jumps out of gear as you put it. The most likely fault is going to be a pressure regulation sensor or EVM solonoid valve both of which are common failures on the DPO auto box like in your clio. Obviously the car is well out of warranty but given the very low mileage you could ring up Renault UK Customer Services and ask them for a contribution towards the repair costs, although its unlikely you will get anywhere. Your best bet is going to be to take your Clio to an automatic transmission specialist. Some are members of ' The Federation Of Automatic Transmission Engineers (FATE). For more info visit www.fedauto.co.uk
Also nothing to do with your query but have you had the timing belt replaced on your Clio?

I don't have a garage just a driveway. The Modus 1.6 16v VVT Dynamique Auto is my Grandparents car which I also drive.
