Re: What do you think of this Clio?

Renault Clio's like any other car if serviced, maintained and looked after should prove reliable and not let you down, but sometimes it is luck of the draw. There are probably plenty of Clio owners who's Clio's have not missed a beat, other Clio owners who's Clio's have been nothing but trouble despite regular maintenance, but then you could say the same thing for any other make and model of car. With Renaults check all the electrics work, timing belt along with pulleys tensioners and waterpump is due every 5 years or 72k whichever is first. The main faults with Renaults tend to be the Coils (petrol engines only especially 1.2 16v, 1.4 16v and 1.6 16v), temp sensor and TDC sensor but generally Clio's are very good. With any used car you buy an HPI check is vital.

I don't have a garage just a driveway. The Modus 1.6 16v VVT Dynamique Auto is my Grandparents car which I also drive.
