Grand Scenic, worth a punt?

Hello guys, i would like to pick your brains if you dont mind.
Due to an expanding family i am looking at a 2.0vvt Grand Scenic.

A diesel would be nice but the only ones in budget are high miles, and the car will only be doing about 5k miles a year anyway.

Any idea what kind of mpg i can expect? Mostly town driving and a/b roads at a sensible pace (it will be the wifes )

The particular car im looking at has had the instrument cluster replaced - is this likely to go again?
Also, the rear glass screen in the panoramic roof has a leak. The dealer has said this will be repaired before (if) i buy it, but is it a common reoccuring problem?

Finally, anything else i need to look at?
The car is on a 54 plate and has done 55k miles.

I appreciate im asking a lot, but ive never owned a Renault and any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Nick
