Re: Plastic screw stuck in roof bar mounts

No problem.

Is it only the screw which is plastic (i.e. what it screws into is metal)?

If its metal, then perhaps a soldering iron could be inserted to melt the screw, allowing the other one to seat fully home. I presume shortening the new screw isn't an option?

Otherwise, you'll be either removing the strip, or the headlining.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
