Re: Any quick cure for sqeaky brakes?
And I've had them applied to brake pads fitted on my van & bike...(with no problems)
To my mind, I can appreciate that CG may well have a corrosive effect, but surely that comes down to how much, and where its applied?
Too many amateur mechanics are of the 'I'll just cover it all' mentality', and then it looks like youv'e had some CG placed in your calipers, which came with some pads...
Its like having air in your tyres, the correct quantity is desirable, too much will have a detrimental effect.
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
