Re: Renault - Scenic - Window Regulator Brackets/Clips

Could be worse...
All the 4 windows broken. The first after just more than a year (driver side), then the passenger side (year 2), finally rear passenger and driver side (year 3)...Grand Scenic dci 1.9 2004.
Renault has got a problem here. Those things make you avoid to buy another renault

Just bought an 04 Scenic II on sunday.
Was driving along and tried to open then close my sons rear passenger electric window, and it went down then back up in steps, having to re-press the button on the drivers panel each time.
Decided to give this forum a go when I got home but looked back and the window was open.
It was starting to rain and the window control wouldn't do anything.
I got out and using my hands pulled the window into the closed position.
At this I heard the sound of something breaking inside.
I take it this is the regulator clip??
Does any of this sound particularly familiar to anyone?
I went from a nightmare C5 to the Scenic thinking I'd have an easy ride with few maintenance issues, only to have one two days after buying it!!!
Currently in freevoice's garage:
grand scenic 1.9 dci 2004. Last garage used: Paul Chan Southport
