Thank you both for your reply's, that's really helped, nothing worse than stripping it all off and finding out I need a specialist tool or something. I have already replaced the brakes and used the rewind tool, it was then that I noticed the disc was
Scored due to metal on metal, bloody garage repaired electronic brake motor but left old pads on, they knew they were worn down and mentioned it, I told them to do whatever to fix it, I assumed for the sake of a new set of pads they had done them, sadly not!!

New disc is bloody 97.00, and MOT due next week.

Thanks again for your help, I'd be lost without this forum
