Re: Greasy Windscreen?

I tried cleaning the windscreen with a branded car windscreen polisher/cleaner,, but on a long run on a bad day the road grease starts to have its effect,, not having a wax in the car wash does make a massive difference to me. Using a good quality windscreen wash "Eventually" has no efect on those bad days on a long journey,, of a few hundred miles,, when getting out of the car in foul weather to clean it up is not what I need. For sure its a battle that those of us who understand how important it is to keep that windscreen really clear. How we win can be in different ways,, I am always looking for better and taking on board "All" tips.
It is a fact that grease on windscreens has become worse over the years, more traffic, more oily deposits on our roads even if we dont see them, they all have an bad effect on our vision. I will try all tips I see on this forum, thats what its about.
