1,6 petrol, i would leave alone, poor mpg programming issues when cold and over fuelling, cam shaft dephaser failing often, very hard to drive smoothly. If your having petrol the 2.0 ltr is the one to have. The 1.5 is good in a Megane but it is a must to have documented service history as late oil changes caused the ring to stick and premature turbo wear. The 1.9 dci is better still and had a 6 speed ND0 box made by nissan by far a better box. Good luck with you purchase.
