Re: Renault Clio 2003 - Engines - Loss of power and Warning Light

Well, here's my latest update...
The earthing strap is ok, replacing the crank sensor and the coil pack made no difference either, so...
I've run a scan of the oxygen sensors and holding the engine at 2000rpm, Oxygen Sensor #2 is doing something strange - it's up at around 0.8 volts. Oxygen Sensor #1 is oscillating between around 0.1 and 0.8 volts as I would expect. Revving the engine hard to 5000rpm brought Sensor #2 down to 0.45 volts where it should be but it then drifts back up again to 0.8 volts on idle. Leave it for any time at idle (which is slightly rough and high at around 1050rpm) and it goes into limp mode with the electrical fault light coming on. No DTC's are stored. Try to drive off from idling with Sensor #2 giving 0.45 volts and under load it goes into limp mode straight away. If it's an injection fault, why isn't the MIL light coming on and why isn't the ECU storing any DTC's?
Can any of you injection savvy types point me to where I should look next?
