Grand Scenic Wiper arm hitting bonnet


Have had this problem at high speeds mostly in the past and same again now - very fast causes driver side wiper to bang the bonnet. Garage has adjusted in the past but is there any procedure as when I've tried to do it before the wiper hits the other arm (passenger side) which, when moved hits passenger pillar.

Maybe the spine is worn too much as there are usually metal shavings in the wiper arm socket and have read posts about bearings but the screen is being cleared.
