Re: Espace 2007 tyre wear

the specs that reno use for the rear axles are pretty much a joke.
normal range is about -2.2 +/- 7mm, camber can also be at silly angles(i dont know the specs off hand)

if the hubs are bolted on to the rear axle then you have the capability to get them shimmed with stainless steel foils to correct Camber/Toe.

prices to get this fixed is about 150 and upto 2 hours in a specialist garage (only use the ones with the BIG DIAMOND reflectors with a large red laser T bar infront of the ramp)
bog standard 2/4 wheel alignment tools are a waste of time. as you need full geometry alignment correction.

(if you cannot find anyone locally, try a JAG dealership, they WILL have the right kit)

the prices of the neccessary garage alignment laser kit is now as low as 10k so, there is bound to be someone in your area that can do the neccessary work to retrack the rear axle to 0:0 if your insistant enough.

before you get it done, make sure the rear axle and spring bushes are ok or get them replaced, as they will affect rear axle geometry.
