Re: Motorway Madness - A Rant

When I passed my test I had to go up to Norfolk from South London to pick up my Great Aunts old Renault Clio which was given to me.

My mate drove me up there and I followed him back(Well up until the end of the M11 southbound, where he broke down). On the way back he would get me to pull out and overtake him and then we would do this for a bit to get me used to it which helped a lot.

So my first driving experience after passing my test was driving from Norwich to South East London in an unfamiliar car(Mk1 1.2L Clio), in the pouring rain and on Motorway at night. I have to admit I was fairly nervous on this occasion, but do not get phased by motorways anymore.

I actually prefer driving on the motorway most of the time, especially compared to driving around town.

Is it me or Do lorries always seem to try and overtake each other on the motorway going up hill?
