Check to see if you can hear the motor when you press the switch. If you can you will probably find the pin that goes through the window to push it up and down has come out. It takes about 15mins to sort. Remove door panel and wires to switch, Remove door speaker and disconnect wire, once door trim is off, feel around the inside of the door there should be a small plastic clip that should be attached to the pin, this may have come off causing the problem in the first place, remove this ready for replacement later. Re connect the switch turn on the ignition and try to open window you will then see the location pin moving up and down as you try to open the window. Lift the glass to the location pin and re insert through the hole in the glass, then slide the locking clip back into place on the rear of the pin and test again to ensure all is well, refit door trim "job done" saving 100 or so!!!
