Try disconnecting the negative lead to the battery for a couple of hours (make sure you have your radio code, as you'll need it when you reconnect the battery.) It may just have spiked and need a reset.

Otherwise, it's more likely to be fuses, though if the rest of the panel works, that doesn't make much sense. Try the instrument diagnostic to see if you get any sense out of the LCD then. To activate the diagnostic, hold down the trip button on the end of the wiper stalk while inserting the card in the slot - the instruments should start to step up and down, and pressing the trip button again should cycle through various displays on the LCD.
