Recently bought a Clio 1.5dci from a small independent dealer. The car came with three months warranty and 6 months MOT, and I've had it for just under two weeks now. All initially seemed well, bit after getting used to the car I realised the suspension was noisier than it should be and it turns out I've got a 'broken' anti roll bar link, the other one apparently not too far behind. With tracking as well, I was quoted £130 to get this done at Kwikfit. I asked the dealer if this would be done under warranty and he gave the expected wear and tear speech, but surely if it was sold like this then it was not roadworthy and I have some come back? Also the gearbox has developed a noise when changing into 5th (which I have already posted about) but this is going to be sorted, so I have been assured - I think the guy probably f'd it by trying to change the gear nob and yanking the gear stick.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I know I shouldn't have bought a car without a full 12 month MOT, but am just curious to see what anybody else thinks on the matter.
