My friends Laguna (2005 facelift) is absolutley fine. Set to go off after a 3psi drop which is only likely to flash up when you do have a genuine problem. I understand the later Lagunas do have a larger window of drop allowance.

Yep, I agree. As I said earlier our 2004 Laguna is fine, and tolerances have been increased to stop nuisance false alarms, this was introduced in 2003. So people with 53 reg cars and newer shouldn't have many problems. Also we have standard plastic dust caps, unlike earlier lags that had alloy ones that corroded.
