Front bearings and brakes

Hi guys

Took my 04 Megane in for a service. I was charged 222 for the service. I asked them to have a look as i hear a noise from the front of the car when you accelerate past 50-55 mph.

I they have said that they think its the front bearings? however, they have no idea which one as they cannot tell, so best to replace both front ones? That is all well and good, but if they are not sure that its that and they change them, well that leaves me well out of pocket!

They have quoted 745 for both bearings, front and rear discs and pads, parts and labour? is this expensive? And is it worth having both bearings changed, what if it is not that thats causing the noise?

Any help would be much appreciated
