Scenic Wishbone

I put this post up a while ago

the car has now been to the main dealer for the recalls to be done and they have discovered that the problem is with the wishbone whatever that is (I'm not technically minded), we have to take it back next week, as they can't get the parts till Tues and can't do the work till Fri (bad for a main dealer I thought) well it's only been the 5th time back and it's only an 80 mile round trip
Can anyone explain to me what they mean by wishbone please, is it safe to drive like this etc
