Talking Re: Scenic2 Window Winder fix - with Pix

I have just done the repair on my rear window. It took me a couple of hours and I read a few posts before starting.

The most difficult part was winding the cables correctly and then putting them back into the housing without them popping back out. The next hardest thing was getting the cables in place as the do appear short. Rollling it over the top pulley last, using long nosed pliers to turn the pulley worked well.

When I initially saw that the window had dropped and the cables were all over the place I did think that it was going to be expensive. The pair of clips cost me 4.31 from Reanault and they are redesigned to be thicker and less likely to break. I have only used one and have a spare for the other side should that break. Very pleased.
