Another avenue worth pursuing is that many dealer groups are multi-franchise (i.e. think of a major dealer chain & chances are they will represent different 'brands' in different areas), therefore, you can (if you can get a trade discount from a Renault dealer outside your area), get it shipped via internal mail to a non-renault garage (from the same chain) in your area.

An example is needed; I have a good working relationship with Arnold Clark FIAT (Grangemouth), I buy my van & seicento parts (discounted) from them & get it shipped (at no cost) to my local Arnold Clark in Kilmarnock (which is a Peugeot dealer).
