I have tried cheaper wipers (Aero fit) twice now and both times they performed poorly - noisy and leaving residue (also hinge pin rusts/slides out over time).

Both times I bought Renault wipers and cost around 28 but get a little discount when I ask :D

Bosch much dearer (40 ish) and the Renault ones last me about 2 1/2 years.

The newer Renault wipers have one support 'lug' on the RHS of the passenger wiper (viewed from inside the car so must be a redesign - looks better too.

Get what you pay for rings true in this case.
