Hi, you may already have sorted this but, I'm an Auto electrician and your cigar lighter is fed from an ignition supply so when you plug in your booster you just energise the ignition system somewhat. If you want to use the booster again on your laguna your cigar socket must be wired directly to an existing 12v permenant (like at your ignition barrel or fuse box, using a suitable fuse or course). This means when plugged in, it directly powers the battery and not ignition or accessory things. We have people coming into our garage all the time with the same problem, we just rewire it slightly. Another benefit is, your cigar lighter will work independant of the ignition.
