She did fail the MOT a few weeks ago. Apparently a previous owner had carried out a bodged seat runner repair and it finally failed. You know the one I mean Did pretty well I thought. Lasted over 2 years.

As the seat belt is attached to the seat runners and the seat moved forward under braking that was enough to fail the mot.

Anyway I cut out the offending piece and welded in a new one. Good as new now. 180K on the clock and still going

Who would do such a thing?.

Come to think of it,I'm pretty sure there are some photos of the 'modification' on here somewhere.....(it's a modification if it works,a bodge if it doesn't)
