I strongly suspect that some,if not all the valves would have been depends on the engine speed when the belt broke and how lucky you are!.

It is expensive to repair the damage done when a belt breaks,so it might be worth getting a few quotes for a fully reconditioned complete head for your engine.From there,work out which is going to be cheaper,repairing your head or getting another one.If this is the same engine as was fitted into the Laguna 1,then there are 12 valves,and I suspect they would be £20-£30 each to replace,plus the head gasket set,bolts,belt and other bits and pieces.The labour is going to be expensive,also.The book time to remove and refit the head alone is 10hours......

You could try a new belt on it as it is,but I suspect you'd be wasting your money.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
