Laguna II 2.0dCi poor mpg?!?

Hi guys and girls.

Got a problem with my 2007 Laguna as specified above.

We got the car 6 months ago with 82K on the clock. We had new cambelt, routine service and other things done (2 new tyres, new rear brakes etc). According to computer we are getting 27 mpg in town and 32 on dual carriageways. I have brimmed it and calculated as advised to do and this confirmed 32 mpg.

Also, don't know if it's connected but on cold start up it struggles to get revs up for about 5 seconds and there is a puff of white smoke from exhaust. Also performance doesn't feel up to 150bhp levels.

As a comparison had a 2000 X Reg laguna 1.9dci before which averaged 45mpg on a 30 mile round commute. gives an indication of my driving style.
