Been there. Done that. Injectors + Glowplugs can be a lot harder to replace. Plus, mechanical injector pumps are a nightmare to diagnose (my 2.2D developed a habit of idling on 3 cylinders I could never fix...) I think I'd actually prefer a modern diesel if I were going to have another one.
