Espace Rear Brakes

I have a '54 Espace DCi and do most work myself and recently replaced the front discs and pads with no problems. However, the rear discs and pads are shot and now need done. i have no experience working with the handbrake system etc and was wondering if the job is straight forward enough and if so, how do you disable the parking brake to allow you to do the work.

The discs looked knackered and it has developed a rotational click and grinding noise from the rear end.

Any advice appreciated, cheers.
