Re: Renault Scenic 2 - Rear Brake Pad Replacement
a) Piston wind-back tools as illustrated are a VERY worthwhile investment and will pay for themselves time over. Availabale for a few £'s from most Halfords.
b) During piston wind-back, it is often recommended to loose off the bleed nipple and expel the excess fluid that way. The fluid in the cylinders will be heat affected anyway, so its usually worth changing it at the same time. This also avoids pushing fluid back up to the reservoir and the overflow danger that entails AND it makes piston push back a shed-load easier
