Hello and welcome to the forum.
Some early Mk2's have a nasty habit of corroding,check the rear wheel arches and outer/inner sills and also the front subframe as they are all common areas.The later Mk2's have a galvanised front subframe but the early ones were just painted.
Noisy wheel bearings and broken
springs are also quite a common fault,but neither are expensive to sort out.Renault gearboxes aren't known for their strength either,but the 1.2 8 valve engine doesn't put too much strain on it and as long as the
level is checked regularly you should be fine.The engine it's self is pretty good,check for cambelt replacement history (72k or 5 years,if in doubt get it done) but really the units are strong.
If you take some time and find a good Mk2 Clio it should be a good car.
