The only thing I would say is that you should check out the rear seats - they seem to be smaller than I was expecting.
For kids they should be fine, but for adults they are likely to be a squeeze.
I got a 2002 scenic 1.6 petrol auto dynamique for £1400 which seemed a good price, but be aware that you might need to do some work on it:
Has the timing belt been changed <5k miles ago?
Has the servicing been done?
Were there any advisories on the previous MoT and have they been sorted?
Run the reg number through the sms service at 83600
Check ALL the electrics since this seems to be a Renault weak spot.
Check the front footwell carpets for damp (though this is normally easy to sort, so could be a good bargaining point).
