Nah I'm the same, pressure bleeders are a right clart on but they do work and can save the master cylinder seals from damage.
I've had a master cylinder give up on me once before after brake bleeding, lucky for me it wasn't a Sunday afternoon and a 2nd hand replacement was only a few quid, from then on in I've always either just used the normal peddle travel when bleeding or the pressure bleeder, never had a problem since.
