Grease nipples on rear calliper
One problem is drilling trough case hardened steel castings. I had to use a diamond tipped drill bit (Lidl supply) to break through into the bore for shaft that operates hand brake mech on calliper. Grease bore hole has to escape inboard of calliper hydraulic seal and outboard of environmental seal. I used 1/4" NPT grease nipples and tapped bore hole to this size of thread. Have a dedicated grease gun filled with red rubber grease which I use only for this purpose and nothing else. I suppose I could have used normal lithium grease but was worried the high pressure from gun could force grease past the hydraulic seal. Photo to follow.
