Re: noise from front when pulling away and turning

Hello i just signed up here tonight
we all need each others help from time to time with any make of car but especially with renault .

well the only part that the person before didnt mention was your constant velocity joint in yoyr drive .
its just behind your wheel under the outer drive boot .

check to see if the rubber boot is burst or covered with grease .
if that is where your problem is you will need to fit a new one and use the proper metal clip dont use plastic cable ties as some vehicle drives dont suit the use of these and they break and dirt gets into the drive and damages it so you have to replace it again.

check both sides front .

if you cant see grease or the boot burst on either side get a passenger with windows down to listen as you drive in a circle in both directions anticlock and clockwise to see if you can pinpoint whick side the noise comes from .

failain that it could be a wheel bearing but it would be about to collapse if it were that noisy.
you can check those by jacking the car up at front and checking for lost motion in the front wheels if there is you need to see if its in the wheel bearing or just a loose wheel check wheel nuts before you jack the car.
oh and by the way be safe and use axel stands
it pays to take the time as it could save ur life.
hope this info helps,
