Scenic passed her MOT today but some advice please!

Pleased to say that the Scenic passed her MOT this evening! On one hand I'm pleased but on the other I was expecting/hoping she'd to fail on the emissions and at least point me in the direction of where the fault/low MPG issue we're having lies

Anyway, the advisories as follows;

001 o/s/r position lamp(s) slightly affected by the operation of another lamp [1.1.A.2d]

002 Rear registration plate deteriorated but not likely to be misread [6.3.1d]

003 Nail in nearside rear tyre

004 Child seat fitted not allowing full inspection of adult belt

005 Suspension joint o/s lower dust cover split/missing

001 is the one I have issue with. The position lamps do very, very, very slightly dim when the other lamps are used (reverse, fog, indicator) but I would assume that's to do with a slight power fluctuation rather than anything else? Is it normal for lights to slightly dim when a further current is drawn from the battery?

002/004 and 005 were on last years advisories and 003 is a new one!

All printed out on the lovely cheap looking new MOT certificate

Currently in scatz's garage:
2004 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B, a 2013 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Sport S-Max and a 2001 Honda NSR125R
