Water is meant to run through the door, isn't it? Or at least it has on every car I've ever owned. That's why they have drains at the bottom (aside from the larger removable plug) - is yours blocked?

Mind you, I guess if the outside seal isn't pushed against the window properly or ill fitting, far more than expected would get in and it might not run cleanly down the back of the door skin which could be bad for the door electrics. On the Lag 2, at least, the clips for the door trim and handle allow quite a bit in too...
