well not to get into a tuning box good/bad thing, I just mentioned its fitting for completeness.Who knows it might be helpfull for cold starts.
I just mean that on a relatively new 1.5 the starting/idle varies a little between the 2 extremes of hot and fully cold engine. It might be that way in any case.
valve on my old car (petrol) was the only cause of trouble (engine lite on n barely kept going symptoms at odd times).
It was professionally cleaned once the other times when I noticed the light flick on maybe 10 times in 80k miles I took the car for a good "blast" and seemed to cure it.
