Thank Alan, happy to have helped.
It's not necessary to get the paint from Renault, but I would use a dedicated automotive paint supplier (either local to you or via the internet), rather than a certain Bike retailer (I've read other members having issues with paint matching).
The TE part of the code means Teinte Effect - just really means that its lacquered.
If you can post a pic (or pm it to me if you prefer), I can advise further on what method is best to carry out a repair.
