If your Scenic has reflector (i.e. silver reflector behind the lightbulb) as opposed to projector (i.e. 'golfball size' glass lens in front of the bulb) headlamps, it may be that you've done the same thing I did to my Lag 1 Phase 2 lights every time I had to change a bulb - the motor has a plastic balljoint which pops into a cup on the back of the reflector, which tends to ping out if you apply any pressure to the rear of it. I always managed to sort it out by popping the bulb out, sticking my finger through the hole and pulling the reflector toward the back of the light until it re-engages with a 'pop'.
