Harmony Extended Warranty
I would appreciate any opinions on whether its worth taking out the Renault Harmony Extended Warranty on my 2006 Grand Scenic 2.0 Auto. I'm thinking about taking out an extra 2 year 60000 mile cover, giving me a total of 5 years and peace of mind.
I have spoken to a Renault dealership who reckon that they haven't had one warranty claim turned down with this policy. The only grey area they mentioned can be
leaks where they are not classed as major
I asked if things like replacing faulty door handles would be covered and he said he thought they would (a common problem on the handsfree models I think).
I've looked at Warranty Direct and the time you add the extra cover required for additional components (including breakdown cover), £800 for an extra 2 years, so covering me for 5 years in total, doesn't seem bad?
Any views and guidance would be appreciated as their current offer of £50 accessories or servicing runs out at the end of Sep '06!!
