In all honesty, your best bet would be to buy an aftermarket sat-nav system and hang it off your windscreen.
Yes, factory fitted items look the part, but to try and retro-fit a Renault system is a nightmare on its own, let alone trying to fit one from another company.
Tomtom units are pretty good because they are 'future-proof', you can update them with your computer as and when new software is released. They also have a very good aerial and can recieve satellite signals through athermic glass.
