Re: Clio sunroof leaking?

with regard to removing sunroof there is no need to remove the headlining to access the securing nuts just remove the glass and remove the trim inside the vehicle around the sunroof gently ease down the headlining around the aperture and insert some small blocks of woodbetween the headlining and the roof approx30mm thick this will give you enough access to undo the 12 nuts securing the roof frame to the roof of the car a ratchet spanner is best for this job 8mm i think then lift out the frame when all nuts are removed clean off old gasket no need to spend 30 quid on renault gasket buy a rollof double sided security tape 10mm wide by5 mm thick as used by double glazing boys and fit this were the old gasket has been rub the sticky side that is facing up to remove the glue refit the frame tightening the nuts evenly this will cure the problem
